Early detection saves lives. As part of its development project with the Ministry of Health & Population, AMGroup delivered an AI early detection module for cancer using CT-scan analysis — MedScan AI.
How it works
- CT studies are ingested from the hospital’s imaging systems.
- A deep-learning model trained on medical-grade data analyzes the scans for early signs of lung cancer.
- Findings are surfaced to radiologists with confidence indicators and highlighted regions, supporting — never replacing — the physician’s decision.
- Results integrate with the clinical data assistant (CDA) system, keeping patient information, diagnosis, lab tests and imaging in one view.
Two solutions, one goal
Alongside MedScan AI, the project includes an AI smart avatar for patients: appointment scheduling assistance, medical-service information and healthcare guidance — improving the patient experience while freeing clinical staff.
